RYA TRAINING
Super Yachts - PWC
- Aim:
- To train experienced PWC handlers to become PWC Instructors.
- Duration:
- Three days with the final day being moderated by a second trainer.
- JetSki:
- Yamaha VX110 Sport.
Course Information
In 2007 the RYA and PYA (Professional Yachtsman's Association) identified a need for guest's onboard superyachts to have some form of safety training before riding a PWC (Jetski). As a result of these discussions a training package was put together whereby a yacht becomes an RYA recognised training centre to teach jetski safety.
The Yacht has to have an RYA PWC (jetski) instructor on board to run this course. Charter guests, owners or crew will then be issued with a short term PWC (jetski) licence.
Guardian Marine offers the PWC (Jetski) instructors course which is over 2 days with a moderator attending on the third. The training centre is about 4o mins form Gatwick airport. There is accommodation at the Marina. Alternatively, we can travel to you and run the course from your location.
The course will be conducted on our Yamaha VX110 Sport
